Repair of Original Lime Plaster work - patches of cement removed and replaced with lime plaster, matching the original pargeting. Lime washed to original colour

This property was cement rendered onto brick. The moisture trapped in the brick by the cement had caused the brick to decay. A breathable lime render will stop this happening
                   
                       
     
Removal of brittle, impervious cement render, repair of oak laths and re-plastering with lime plaster
          
             
Considerable decay had occurred to the lower timbers - new oak was and can be inserted to restore structural stability

Repair and re-build of fireplace brickwork
              
                                       
               
Even the most damaged and decayed brickwork can be repaired where necessary. A sympathetic tradesman should adopt the policy of 'Repair not Replace'
              
                                       
                                       
Removal of cement pointing and re-pointing in lime mortar.
Damp was present on the inside of this wall. Once the cement pointing was removed, the wall was allowed to breath and the damp disappeared.
