The Suffolk Preservation Society (established in 1929) is the County Branch of the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE).
The Society works to protect and enhance the countryside, towns and villages of Suffolk.
The Group was formed in 1983 by a varied collection of professionals and amateurs keen to see more work on the lesser buildings of Essex published for all to see and comment on.
The Suffolk Historic Buildings Group was formed in 1993 to provide an opportunity for anyone with an interest in historic buildings, to develop and share their knowledge with like-minded individuals.
Promoting communication, training and sharing of knowledge amongst those interested in historic and contemporary timber framed structures
The Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings is involved in all aspects of the survival of buildings which are old and interesting.
