Rear Wall brickwork repairs

A few photos to show progress this week on the rear wall. When we originally cleared the garden we found a stack of the original Fletton bricks in the overgrowth and I'm pleased they've finally come to good use.

This has been tricky because the brickwork I have to match to on the right is neither straight or level so it took a while with tape measure, strings, plump bobs etc to figure out what lines I was going to work to.

The brickwork with some of the new stone window cills and heads now in place. The old windows had wooden cills which were rotted away - time to get some nice stone in place that will stand the test of time.
