The beginning....

Its now December 2017 and I cant believe how quickly time has flown by over the last few years! We bought the cottage in August 2014 but it took us a whole year to sell up and move all of our crap to our new home. So another two years on and I'm finally ready to start the main work on the cottage. Hopefully over the next few posts I will upload a few pictures and descriptions to show what the house and garden was like when we first got here, and to show whats been done so far to get us to this point.

Anyway, as a start here's a picture of the front of the cottage, and I hope it gives you an idea of why we fell in love with the place! This isn't the oldest photo we have but its the oldest I've got access to at the time of typing. I'll dig some earlier photos out in due course.
