No more silt please!

Now we had the site cleared back it seemed a good time to get the pond and the ditch cleared out. The pond was so full of silt that we did't realise at foist that we actually had a pond at first. As we dug it out, I thought the silt wouldn't stop coming.. dumper load after dumper load .. .
But I'm so glad we did it, the pond soon started to fill back up with water - newly restored habitat for the wildlife of the area.
