The workshop

Before work on the house could start we needed to build the garage/workshop. The house has been full of boxes since the move so we needed somewhere out of the way put all our crap. Also I need somewhere to store my tools and to work from during the forthcoming years of restoration. Hence, during the summer of 2016 I started the workshop. Its a 2 storey softwood building with a loft space for our boxes/possesions. I use the lower floor for my equipment and a warm dry place to work in during the winter.

I was especially pleased with the cedar shingle roof. Although time consuming compared to something like pan tiles, the softer and natural look of the cedar really suited the building.
